Terms of use
Last updated: 4 November 2026
These terms explain how you can use Order of Service Maker. We have tried to keep them short and plain.
The service
Order of Service Maker is a tool that runs in your web browser and helps you make an order of service for a funeral, memorial or celebration of life. The preview and a watermarked proof are free. Clean, print-ready PDFs are a one-off purchase (once payments open). The tool is provided by CellAndPound in the United Kingdom.
Your words and photos
You are responsible for what you put in your order of service. Please only add photos and words you have the right to use – your own writing and family photos are fine. Song lyrics and modern poems are usually still in copyright, so we leave them out of our library and suggest you do the same. The hymns, poems and readings in our library are out of copyright in the UK; see Sources & copyright.
Please check before printing
We work hard to make the layout and page order correct, but please read your proof carefully – especially names, dates and times – and print one test copy before printing many. We can’t be responsible for printing costs caused by mistakes that a proof check would have shown.
Using your PDF
Once bought, you may print and share your order of service as much as you need for the service and for family and friends, and have it printed by any print shop. Please don’t resell the tool, its designs or its templates.
Payments and refunds
Payments will be handled by Lemon Squeezy as merchant of record, and their terms of sale apply to the purchase. See our refund policy – including a 14-day refund if the PDF doesn’t work.
Availability and liability
We aim to keep the site working but can’t promise it will always be available. Nothing in these terms limits our liability where the law doesn’t allow it, or affects your legal rights as a consumer. Otherwise, our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid.
Changes
We may update these terms from time to time; the date at the top will change when we do. These terms are governed by the law of the United Kingdom, and you may bring a claim in the courts of the part of the UK where you live.
Contact
A contact email address will be added to this page before payments open. Once you have bought, your Lemon Squeezy receipt email will also include our contact details.
